Here is a 2 minute healthy breakfast that has a great combination of protein and carbs, can be eaten hot or left to cool and taken to the gym, work or eaten on the bus!

Choose from:

  • Banana & Tahini
  • Black Cherry & Almond
  • Raspberry & Courgette
  • Apple Pie

 

One Black Cherry Cake contains 247 calories, 31g carbs and 10.7 g protein

One Banana and Tahini Cake contains 439 calories, 60g carbs and 15g protein

Oats help to lower blood pressure and bad cholesterol, control blood sugars, boost your immune system, increase appetite control hormones, keep you regular and give slow release energy.

Eggs are a good source of high quality protein as well as a whole host of other vitamins and minerals and can help to lower the risk of heart disease, boost your immune system, boost brain function, energy production, eye health and improve the appearance of your skin.

Get creative and make up your own combinations but to get you started try these:

Banana and Tahini Oats in a Mug

  • 50 g oats
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 banana mashed
  • 1tsp tahini
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mug and microwave for 2 minutes
  2. The Mug Cake will easily tip out onto a plate

Black Cherry and Almond Oats in a Mug
